Add custom blockout dates to your calendar in Happy Buyers to exclude sales spikes from holidays, promotions, or events.
Blockout dates allow you to filter out higher than average sales days from your run rate calculations to allow you a clearer view of your regular sales trends and more accuracy in demand for reordering.
Blockout date examples:
- Set one-time blockout dates for a store's grand opening or a pop-up event
- Apply an annual, recurring blockout date from 4/18-4/20 for all your locations
- Select multiple stores to blockout a local event date
How to set blockout dates:
- Launch Happy Buyers ↗️
- Click the Calendar icon next to the Lookback Period
- Title your event and select the dates you want to block on the calendar from impacting your analysis
- Double-check that things look good and click 'Apply' to confirm your blockout dates
