📆 Apply blockout dates

Add custom blockout dates to your calendar in Happy Buyers to exclude sales spikes from holidays, promotions, or events.

Blockout dates allow you to filter out higher than average sales days from your run rate calculations to allow you a clearer view of your regular sales trends and more accuracy in demand for reordering.

Blockout date examples:

  • Set one-time blockout dates for all sales during a store's grand opening
  • Blockout sales from a specific brand and/or category for a pop up event like Wyld edibles
  • Blockout sales for pre-rolls if you are having a major sale or promotion
  • Apply an annual, recurring blockout date from 4/18-4/20 for all your locations for inflated 420 sales
  • Exclude a day the store was closed
  • Select multiple stores to blockout a local event date

  2. Make sure you are an Organization admin (reach out to the customer success team if you need admin access or want to learn more)
