# Discontinuing products

## Users can update a product's carry status to "Discontinue" to exclude products you no longer wish to carry from recommended restock and suggested orders.

### Continue to carry

The default carry status for all of your individual products is "Continue to carry." 

The default product view on the Product page will show all products with a carry status of "continue". Toggle the filter on the left to view your discontinued products or all products.

### How to update the Carry status

1. Manually select products you wish "Discontinue"
2. Click the **Actions** button
3. Select **Update carry status**
4. Update the status to **Discontinue**

You can follow these same steps to change discontinued products back to "continue to carry"

### Discontinued products

Toggle the left filter carry status to **Discontinue** to view all all discontinued products. 

Things to note:

- You can discontinue SKUs at individual locations
- The Add to cart button will be disabled on discontinued products
- All of your sales data will still update hourly and be viewable for discontinued products held in your inventory within the last 90 days.
- Discontinued products will not appear in restock recommendations or suggested orders for your Product lines (SKU groups).
- Discontinued products will be dropped from you Product Line demand calculations.

### View All Products

Toggle your carry status to all to view all of your products. You will notice discontinued products appear gray and will not have an add to cart button.
