Refining order quantities

Adjust quantities after adding products to an order –– for seasonal demand, promos, or to hit a brand's minimum.

    Recalculate order quantities by adjusting your desired days on hand

    When you add products to an order, their days on hand, lead time, and lookback period come from your All Products or Product Line settings.

    To recalculate Units to Order, just change Days on Hand or Lead Time.

    Quantities update instantly based on each product's units per day (sales velocity).

    Manually override units to order

    To set a quantity yourself, type it into the Units to Order field. This overrides the days on hand and lead time settings.

    A reset icon appears next to any quantity you've changed. Click it to clear your override and return to the calculated value.

    Update unit cost on your order

    Edit the unit cost directly on your order to match your vendor's current cost. The estimated cost updates automatically and is optional to include on your shared orders.

    Product lines: Include number of products to order

    For all product lines, you have the ability to add the number of products needed.

    If you have a product line depth set, you strains needed will automatically be calculated for you, but you can also manually override the quantity. 

    This quantity will be included when you send the order. 

     

    Product line order notes

    Click the pencil icon to add notes for each product line. These notes will be include on your shared Order guide.

     

    Estimated cost summary

    Changes made to your order quantities are instantly reflected on the right side of the screen in the summary panel so you see your final order at a glance when editing.

    Save and send your order

    Once you are satisfied with your order, click Save order

    From here, your order will live on the orders tab, where you can add or edit your order notes and email directly to a vendor. 

    You can also use the Actions tab to export a PDF or CSV of your order after it has been saved.

    Note: If you adjust order quantities in your cart and then navigate back to a product view in Happy Buyers, you will see the cart icon change to a reset icon. This indicates that the order quantities have been adjusted in your cart and differ from the current view. Clicking the update cart qty icon here will reset your cart to the originally calculated value.
