      Schedule Recurring Campaigns

      Learn how to schedule recurring text campaigns in Happy Marketers

      Repeat Campaigns

      Campaigns can be scheduled to Repeat at a given cadence (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months, or year). When a campaign that is set to repeat is sent, it will automatically generate the next campaign in the sequence. To cancel a repeated campaign simply cancel the campaign in the Scheduled Campaigns section under See Campaigns.

      How to schedule repeat campaigns:

      1. When drafting a campaign, set the Schedule Campaign Time for the initial message
      2. The option to Repeat the campaign will default to Never
      3. Select a pre-built cadence in “Repeat every” - Daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months, or annually
      4. Confirm the “Repetition end time” - This will default to one year out
      5. Once a campaign is scheduled with a set repetition, it will show up in Scheduled Campaigns as a single campaign with the scheduled time for next send
      6. Canceling the campaign will cancel the entire sequence

      Triggers

      When used with Advanced Targeting, repeated campaigns can be set up as “Triggers.” By using specific filter values and setting campaigns to go out each day against that filter (such as days since last order, average days between orders, number of texts received), it will result in “triggers” being created. With this, you can message everyone who hasn’t shopped in a week every Friday, or send a thank you message to everyone who shopped yesterday.

      How to set up triggers:

        • Example A: Happy Birthday text sent every Friday
          1. Create a segment for Days Until Birthday is 0-6 days
          2. Schedule this campaign to run every week on Friday at 1pm
          3. Select Prepare Target Message and Send Message
          4. A trigger will be created for a weekly message to be sent to everyone who has a birthday coming up that week
        • Example B: 30 days since last shopped
          1. Create a segment for Days Since Last order is exactly 31 days
          2. Schedule this campaign to run every day for the next month
          3. Select Prepare Target Message and Send Message
          4. A trigger will be created to send the campaign daily to everyone who has not shopped in exactly 31 days
